Make It Monday #28

Oh my goodness, Monday again, already?!!  I must have been head down and (other end) up cleaning up after my sick little guy when the weekend went passed.

Still, I'm not complaining, time can't go fast enough for me at the moment, just want this wet season over with already!! Just about broke the axel on my car trying to drive out my own driveway the other day, it is so badly washed away.

And seeing as how it is Monday again already it means it is time for another Make It Monday linky party. YAY!! I absolutely love checking out your creations each week. You ladies are just so talented!!

Just in case those of you who submit each week or those of you who think you might like to were interested, I thought I would give you the stats of last week's linky party.

There were 20 submissions to the linky party  and there were 663 views with 108 link clicks.

The week before was even busier with 19 submissions, 806 views and 143 link clicks.

That's not too bad hey!! But I would dearly love to see the linky party grow so please spread the word, as the more submissions there are the more wonderful inspiration we get to see and the more wonderful people we get to meet. That is what it is all about.

This week's featured blogger as chosen by random.org is.........................................

Heidy from Heidy's Scrappies

with this adorable card

I just love Mo's images and Heidy has certainly breathed life in to this super cute image with her amazing colouring.

Heidy's blog is absolutely packed full of incredibly beautiful creations. So much talent and inspiration in one location, make a cuppa before you head off over there, I promise you will be there a while, lol. (Just a note - Heidy has kindly put a translater button for her blog in her side bar).

The Make It Monday linky party is open again (see top of my blog).

Its a great way to show case your favourite card or project to new people.

Sweet New Baby

.
Hi

How are you all? I hope your week has started off well.

I'm finding that the weeks have certainly sped up since I started back at work a few weeks ago. Maybe it is because I work on a Wednesday and that my week is now broken up in the middle that it seems to go so fast.

I have found a little time to craft at night and managed to make this sweet new baby card.

I used the cutest image from Mo's Digital Pencil called "Fairy Kiki".

I don't glitter much (no where near as much as I should, lol) but I just had to add a little extra shimmer to her wings and hair, after all what's a fairy without a little fairy dust hey?

Image (and flowers) was coloured with Copics

After being inspired by Mary J for so long now I try to decorate the inside of my cards now too as often as I can.

I'm entering this card in to the following challenges:

Make It Monday #27

Well, happy Monday to ya!!

The start of another week, it's like trying to drive uphill with the handbrake on isn't it?!

But, it's not all bad, it does at least signal the start of the Make It Monday Linky party.

This week I am going to deviate from the rules a little ( a collective gasp is heard from the audience.......) and choose someone to feature this week. Now I don't usually do this becuase I'm way too indecisive to do that and prefer to just let the old random.org do it for me. But this week I want to give a special shout out and thank you to a very lovely lady.

Elizabeth from Nutty's News

who entered with this pretty card

Just love those flowers!!

Now, Elizabeth is such a sweet lady. It was lovely to have her join in with Make It Monday for the first time last week. She actually did me a huge favour and sent me an email with  a  code to fix my linky button problems. How awsome is that?!

Now you can all grab the code from my side bar and put the Make It Monday linky button on your blogs if you like.

Thank you so much Elizabeth! This is why I love blogging so much, you get to meet the most wonderful people. If only the rest of the world could play as nicely together as we do here in blogland!

Please hop on over and vist Elizabeth at Nutty's News and say hi and check out her beautiful creative works.

The Make It Monday linky party is open again (see top of my blog).
Its a great way to show case your favourite card or project to new people. You can even revive an old post. So come along link up and check out the other submissions and remember is all about just sharing the creativity and you may even find yourself making some new blog buddies.

Another fantastic selection of images from Kenny and the Design Team have had a blast combining these images and Donna's sketch to creation some awesome inspiration for you for this weeks challenge.

For my card I have used "Teen Idol"

Donna has given us a brilliant sketch to work with for this challenge which I have flipped.

Back to being all sweet and innocent

Hi

Well, I thought after my very raunchy post last time that I had better post something a little more sweet and innocent, lol.

I love this image from Meljen's Designs.

I coloured the image and the flowers with Copics.

I am entering this card in the following chalellenges-

I hope you all have a fabulous weekend. Ours is looking like it is going to be another wet one. We have a low off the coast at the moment that the Bureau is watching closely as they say it may develop in to a cyclone. OH YAY!! :-(  Enough already!! The council hasn't even been around to all the streets yet to pick up all the garden waste (fallen trees etc) from the recent Cyclone Yasi. And the poor towns south of us that were decemated by Cyclone Yasi are still trying to clean up and rebuild their shattered homes, schools and businesses.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Here for you

Hi

Wow, time sure is flying. My boys are almost half way through their first term at school.

I'm not one for wishing time away but I am certainly grateful at the moment that it is whizzing by so fast as I am just hanging out for the end of our wet season. It sure seems to have been a much wetter season.

But on the upside, I have managed to do a bit more crafting which is always a good thing.

I made this card to add to my stash.

I'm trying to make use of the ever growing stash of DP scraps that I have and to also use a few stamps that have been neglected for a while now.

DP is from Stampin Up and the image is from an SU set called Asian Artistry.

Thanks for stopping by today
